Who is trampled by turtles

I could never list them all, for sure. The first person that made me want to write my own songs was Bob Dylan, which is probably a typical answer for somebody in my situation, I guess. Simonett: A sload of it. We do it forever. We have a lot of stuff coming up, for sure. I love it in its own way. Playing a concert every day is a real roller coaster in your head, a little bit.

Simonett: Oh, every show. It happens all the time, for sure. And everybody does that. We switch up the show quite a bit to keep it interesting. Within an hour of converging at the cabin, instrument cases were opened and ideas were passed around. And by the end of the week, they were already workshopping a handful of new songs that Simonett had written, and firming up dates at Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, to record their next record.

I think everybody kind of felt that way after we got some space, so it was really healthy. We were like, hey, we should make a record — and the feeling was really casual and there was no pressure at all. We were able to do it in a way that kind of felt like 15 years ago.
