If allowed to have that instead of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, then it would've been new and interesting. I mean, no one has seen the Claire de Lune when watching the original, so why not insert that deleted segment into ? It's on YouTube if you're curious to check it out. All in all, despite having good animation, it's clear that is a bit dependent on the original and can't afford to produce something new without having to rely on a classic. With strength, does have a light and friendly tone that many kids can watch.
The colors are bright and the segments can attract anyone. For my final thoughts, Fantasia is something that Walt wanted to keep doing. It's such a treat to have these films, each having a different experience and it makes for a great time to watch at home.
Though both movies have their ups and downs, I think that neither movie should be devalued because of different time periods. They are both a product of their time and it's fine that if you don't particularly like both films. Still, it's hard not to admit that both films have touched people emotionally, which is what these movies are about. You feel and think of these segments and imagine what is going on through the music. I appreciate how through you were with your comparison. Also I feel that the original Fantasia should be shown as it was originally presented Sunflower and all.
It is in the same sense if you were to allow someone to censor a classical era painting to cover up nudity oh wait they did do that! I mean, it's Disney's call.
Whether or not if they want to show Sunflower in some YouTube video, I wouldn't mind. I mean, other cartoons like Looney Tunes with their Censored Eleven are shown somewhat on YouTube if you can find footage. I'm not saying that they should hide it, but maybe consider showing Sunflower since, at least, today people are being more accepting and Sunflower is part of the original, so yeah.
I mean, if Fantasia is gonna show nudity in Night on Bald Mountain without censoring it, then I don't see why they should put Sunflower back in because truth be told, that's how cartoons were back then, back when there was still segregation. I think they should do what Warner Brothers did for the Looney Tunes along with the Tom and Jerry DVD sets where they had Whoopi Goldberg come out to do an introduction talking about how they have parts in them they were okay back then but may offend people today!
That sounds interesting! Personally, I just see them as cartoons, but I do look into history and details quite a lot. Mickey's Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence is the only carry over from the original, and a worthy match for it in the lineup is the Donald "Noah".
